Course Overview:  This Clinical Director role-specific course builds on the Foundations course in our AI Literacy Series for ABA Professionals. This self-paced program is designed for clinical leaders and focuses on practical, ethical AI use in program oversight, staff development, organizational policy, and effectively vetting marketing materials and claims provided by vendors.

Duration: Approximately 35 minutes in total across three domains: Auditing and Oversight of AI in Clinical Workflows, Establishing Policies and Supervision Plans, and Ethical Risk Management and Safety Monitoring.

• Determine whether AI adoption is appropriate before leading organization-wide implementation, ensuring ethical and operational safeguards.

• Assess the necessity of AI in supervision systems, treatment models, and quality assurance before integration.

• Evaluate vendor claims and negotiate contracts with a clear understanding of AI capabilities, risks, and organizational fit.

• Align any AI use with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and client care priorities—opting out when it does not serve them.
